I just got to spend the whole day with friends and colleagues in the Oregon kidlit community. What a treat! It’s a passionate and talented bunch. I was honored to sit on an authors panel and share my experience. This is the wonderful thing about SCBWI (Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators). For many years, I was out there in the audience, listening to advice, inspiration, and practical tips. Now I get to talk into a microphone and hope my offerings help someone else. It’s the circle of life!
